Hi I'm Steve Countryman and I have spent the past 35 years in the auto industry. Starting in Columbus, Ohio selling for Lincoln Mercury, I then moved to Phoenix in 1979. I spent 22 years with Chevrolet and the past 10 right here at Berge Ford.
I have two beautiful daughters that I'm extremely proud of. I have also spent the past 18 years giving back to the community, serving the needs of the Child Crisis Center located right here in the East Valley.
I have been in auto sales for 19 years and have loved every day of it! It's gratifying, challenging and rewarding. I have been a New Vehicle Sales Manager at Berge Ford for over 7 years. Berge Ford is a great place to work. The entire team is just that, a team and it makes work fun.
I enjoy doing things with my friends and family like hiking, especially up North in the high country, going to the beach and golfing.
I am a 27-year student of the automotive industry. I am originally from the state of Vermont, attended Westwood High School in Mesa, and Arizona State University prior to serving as an officer in the US Army as an Airborne Ranger. I am a Veteran and was extremely proud and privileged to have worn a service uniform. Currently, I reside in East Gilbert. I have two married daughters, both whom reside in the east valley and three lovely granddaughters who participate in competition cheerleading. In my down time, my days are spent with my rescue animals of which I currently have a menagerie of horses, geese, ducks, chickens, dogs, cats and even a pet wolf.
Originally from New York, I have been in the car business since 1985. I have been a proud employee of Berge Ford for 7 years. I like to sell cars!
Hi, I'm Ed Baker, the Service Director at Berge Ford, with responsibility for all service operations. I have held this position since February 2002. I serve on the Business to Education committee at the East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) along with the advisory committee at Mesa Community College and the board for Ford ASSET at Glendale Community College. Prior to joining Berge Ford I held a Service Manager position with a Ford dealership in Oregon for 16 years. I have also held automotive technical positions prior to that for 13 years.
When not working, I spend time with my wife: Debbie of 30+ years. We love to camp, explore and hang with our 4 kids and 2 grandkids. I am also an avid cyclist, predominately mountain biking.
My name is Steve Roger and I was born and raised in Southern California. I've been a part of the Collision repair industry in various roles since 1986. My family and I moved to Arizona 2004 to become a part of the Berge Ford team. I truly enjoy my career. I take great pride in returning our customer's vehicles to pre-accident condition and seeing the smile on their face when they pick up their vehicle.
My family and I spend our free time Camping, ATV riding and watching our two boys play baseball.
I grew up the youngest of nine children on my father's dairy farm in Dubuque, IA. At age 12, my father and mother retired from farming and became "Snowbirds" and so did I. That is how I ended up in Arizona. Upon graduating from high school in Mesa, I applied for my first job with Ford as a pricing clerk in parts department.
That was long before computers became an everyday necessity. I worked my way into management in 2000 and have been managing a Ford Parts Department ever since. I am easy-going, fun loving and some say spoiled (has to do with the youngest part above) but my first goal is customer satisfaction and retention.
My hobbies include riding my Harley and Boating with friends and family.
